It Has the following characteristics:

⑴Adding the modifier will not affect the solubility and the absorption of the ammonium nitrate, efficiency analysis also shows that the modified ammonium nitrate did not reduce the total nutrient

⑵The needed modifier quantity is small, the cost of production is low;

⑶The production of modified ammonium nitrate can depend on the existing ammonium nitrate process units to carry on, only needs simple modification to increase few equipment, the investment is few, and we can see the effection quickly, and the technique of production operation is flexible, can production different varieties of ammonium nitrate according to the different ammonium nitrate;

⑷The process units operate under the existing temperature and the pressure, the fire protection, the explosion-proof rank request is low; The entire production process does not increase any “the three wastes”;

⑸The product pellet intensity is high, is not easy to pulverize, agglomerate or absorb moisture.

The success of the technology developing will enormous change the production, transportation, storage and the present using situation of ammonium nitrate, and this technology is based on the existing ammonium nitrate installment to carry on the production, has technical superiorities of low cost, the small investment, high return and eazy operation; and provide the experience for other similar installment modification, has important promotional value. In 2005, it passed the identification of CNPC, and reached the international advanced level. It obtains successfully in the Jilin Petrochemical Company Fertilizer plant 20 ten thousand ton/year ammonium nitrate installment industrialization production in April 2005, and increases the economic efficiency 5000 ten thousand Yuan for the enterprise in 2006.

It won the second prize in the third session of national safety production supervision Central administration office safety in production scientific and technical payoffs in 2006. Already raised two graduate students, publication three related papers (EI includes 1).
